Real Time Monitoring and Emergency Response


Westguard’s Customer Communication Centre (C3) monitors video, alarm, and access signals in a hardened monitoring center, and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

From C3, Westguard directs Security Officers, our mobile response units, and other emergency response agencies across British Columbia. Our highly trained C3 Operators use remote cameras to verify alarms and events, and then follow client response and escalation protocols.

In many cases, a site’s cameras will provide an alarm signal through video motion detection, allowing members of our mobile response team to be immediately dispatched. However, other devices can also trigger video transmission to C3, by integrating the alarms or access control points into the video system.

Personal Mobile Safety and Emergency Response

Westguard has revolutionized the provision of personal safety by developing a fully-monitored personal alarm system that goes with you: SOS Response. SOS Response is a mobile security app which is directly linked with our professional security monitoring center, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

In the event of a threat or emergency, the user activates SOS with the touch of one button, and both their GPS location and 30 photos are sent in the consecutive 30 second period.
